Expert OT - where life actually happens

Telehealth occupational therapy for cognitive health, mental health, sleep, burnout, and getting back to the life you want. Serving adults and families across Alberta, with in-person visits available in Calgary.

Helping people think clearly, function fully, and live the life they want.

Whether you're an older adult staying independent at home, recovering from a concussion, managing ADHD, living with chronic pain, struggling to sleep, or rebuilding after burnout — the right occupational therapy support makes the difference between getting by and getting your life back.

Who This Is For

If any of this sounds familiar, we should talk

Older adults noticing changes

Things that were easy are getting harder — keeping track of appointments, managing medications, finances, preparing meals, getting around safely. You want to stay independent but you're not sure how to adapt.

Families supporting a parent

You're watching your mom or dad struggle and you don't know how much to help, when to step in, or how to set up their home so it's safe without making them feel like they've lost control.

Living with chronic pain

Pain has changed how you move, sleep, and get through the day. You need practical strategies for managing daily life — not just pain management in theory, but in your actual kitchen, bathroom, and routine.

After a diagnosis

MCI, early dementia, arthritis, fibromyalgia, post-concussion — you have a diagnosis but no clear plan for what to actually do about it in your daily life. Your doctor can't help with that. An OT can.

Post-concussion or brain injury

You've been cleared medically but you're still foggy, exhausted, and struggling to focus. You need someone who can help you function again — at work and at home.

ADHD or cognitive difficulties

You can't follow through, can't stay organized, can't manage your time — and willpower alone isn't cutting it. You need strategies and systems, not just medication.

Can't sleep

You've tried everything and you're still awake at 3am. Poor sleep is wrecking your days, your mood, and your ability to think clearly. You need something that actually works.

Burned out

You're running on empty. Work feels impossible, your routines have collapsed, and a vacation won't fix it. You need a structured path back to functioning.

Our Services

Aging in place - Cognitive Health at Home

Memory slips, missed medications, recipes that used to be automatic — these changes don't mean independence is over. They mean it's time to build the right strategies and supports so daily life stays manageable, safe, and satisfying.

I work with older adults and their families to address the everyday impact of cognitive changes through practical strategies grounded in the routines and environments you actually live in. Because sessions happen over video in your home, I see your real environment — your kitchen, your medication setup, your daily routine — and we build solutions that fit.

What we work on
Medication management and daily routines
Memory strategies that actually work — not brain games
Home environment modification for safety and independence
Sleep and fatigue management — a key driver of cognitive difficulty
Caregiver coaching and family education
Staying engaged in the activities that matter to you

The goal:

You or your parent stays home, functioning well, for as long as possible.

Cognitive Rehab - When Your Brain Isn't Working Right

Post-concussion fog. ADHD overwhelm. Long COVID brain fog. Chemo brain. Memory problems that don't have a clear answer. When cognitive difficulties are affecting your work, your relationships, and your daily life — and nobody has shown you what to actually do about it — occupational therapy fills that gap.

I build both thinking strategies you carry with you everywhere and practical systems in your environment. The combination is what gets you functioning again — at work, at home, and in the life you want to be living.

Common presentations: post-concussion syndrome, mild TBI, adult ADHD, stroke recovery, long COVID cognitive symptoms, chemo brain, depression/anxiety-related cognitive fog, acquired brain injury.

Chronic Pain & Physical Function

When chronic pain changes how you move, sleep, and get through the day, you don't need more general advice — you need someone who understands how pain interacts with your specific daily tasks and environment.

I help clients with chronic pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other persistent physical challenges build sustainable routines that manage pain while keeping you active and engaged. This includes activity pacing, energy conservation, joint protection, adaptive equipment, home modifications, and the sleep-pain connection that so often goes unaddressed.

Common presentations:

chronic pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, post-surgical recovery, reduced mobility, falls and balance concerns, difficulty with household tasks and self-care.

Sleep That Works

If you've tried melatonin, white noise machines, and "good sleep hygiene" and you're still staring at the ceiling — the problem isn't what you think it is.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is the gold-standard treatment for chronic sleep difficulty. It works by changing the patterns that maintain insomnia, not by adding another supplement. Most clients see significant improvement within 4–6 weeks.

Common presentations: chronic insomnia, sleep maintenance difficulty, early waking, sleep anxiety, disrupted sleep-wake cycles, pain-related sleep disruption, fatigue that doesn't resolve with rest.

Burnout Recovery & Mental Health

Burnout isn't solved by a vacation. It's a pattern of depletion that affects how you think, sleep, and function — and it requires a structured path back.

Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and occupational therapy's unique focus on daily function, I help you rebuild sustainable routines, reconnect with what matters, and return to work and life on terms that hold up.

Common presentations: Workplace burnout and stress leave, difficulty returning to work, cognitive fog and emotional exhaustion, loss of motivation and routine collapse, life transitions and role changes, caregiver burnout and compassion fatigue.

Ongoing Support

Weekly or biweekly sessions to implement, practice, and adjust. Most clients see meaningful progress within 6–10 sessions.

Telehealth across Alberta. In-person in Calgary.

Most sessions happen by secure video — which means I see your real home, your real routines, and your real challenges. For older adults, that's a clinical advantage, not a compromise: I'm observing function where it actually happens.

For clients who prefer face-to-face, or when an in-home visit would add clinical value — initial assessments, complex environmental evaluations, mobility and safety concerns — I offer in-person sessions in the Calgary area.

Telehealth — Province-Wide

All you need is a device with a camera and a stable internet connection. Ideal for ongoing sessions, caregiver coaching, and clients across rural Alberta. A caregiver can assist with the technology if needed.

In-Person — Calgary & Area

Home visits for assessments, environmental evaluations, physical function concerns, and clients who prefer face-to-face care. Serving Calgary and surrounding communities.
